Chronic pain is tough. I use a lot of homeopathic remedies for ailments but I can not say that there is a very strong natural painkiller to handle chronic pain. I suggest you see a kinesiologist to find out what is causing the pain and if it can be corrected naturally. 

I have used heat as well as ice to help, and chiropractic has provided unexpected beneficial results.  Massage therapy works well, and I am told acupuncture is a godsend. 

Iv'e recently heard that "hops", a flavoring in beer, has been made in pill/capsule form, for relief of pain. I heard a commercial on the radio. NOT to advertise, however, if you want to learn more, since I can't remember what was said in detail, you should listen to "Coast To Coast", an interesting talk show that has commercials every 30 minutes. The program airs (in my area) on AM 790 WSGW  George Norry hosts the show and always has a guest host and takes calls from listeners from everywhere (in the U.S.,as far as I know), and is on air from 1a.m. to 5 a.m. The commercials every 30 minutes will give you a number and/or website to get a free order delivered for a dollar P&H. They claim it works in about an hour. I'm tempted...but I'm also WONDERERing...Whats the catch? I guess I'm just waiting on reviews...IF any one tries it...please let me (everyone) know...Good show, too...I recommend it. Give it a week because there's a different topic every night...

It depends on a lot of factors. Where is your pain?  In your head, place a banana peeling across you forehead , bad tooth? chew on cloves or get real and buy a bottle of clove oil, stress and anxiety? Lavender to smell and drink to relax.  And then there is marijuana………….
