      A comet is an icy small Solar System body that, when passing close to the Sun, heats up and begins to outgas, displaying a visible atmosphere or coma, and sometimes also a tail.

        Comet-are chunks of ice,dust and rock that form long tails as they move nearer to the sun.One of the most well-known is Halley's Comet.It can be seen about 76 years and will appear again in the year 2061.
