    how do a contact the owner of a car I believe has been abandoned for 12months

    i have got details of the car from nz transport but not the owner


    this car has been parked in an apartment block for over 12 months and we cant find the owner


    it is not registered as stolen

      Report it to the police as an abandoned vehicle. Have it towed as an abandoned vehicle. The tow company only has to keep it for so long, then they can sell it to recover the tow fee. I doubt you will find the owner.
