The ringer is off on our uniden 2.4GHz landline phone
I read through your owner's manual. It does not say anything about turning the ringer on. Check the base unit for a switch to turn the ringer off or on. Also, make sure the volume for the ringer is turned up. You can find the instructions for that here in the manual: http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/EXP4540om.pdf
