Who knew the Seahawks could play so hard? :/ 49ers need to get it together and stop relying on the QB to make the running plays.
I missed most of the game when someone hit a power pole and my electricity disappeared. Judging from the little I saw, the refs had their heads where the sun doesn't shine from the beginning. I watched a reply where a Seahawk nearly snapped a 49er's neck grabbing his helmet to "tackle" him....and no flag. Disgusting and dangerous.

This info about the refs opened my eyes. i have to do some research on this one. thanks everybody.
There's no proof they made bets. This bit of humor is based on the fact they made some blatantly bad calls, and missed game turning plays that would have enabled the 49ers to win the game as they should have. The refs handed the Seahawks the win in this championship game. No way the Seahawks should be heading to the Superbowl.

They didn't win. The refs were blind. 2 bad calls and missed a fumble recovery by the 49ers. Hence the picture I added. They were either paid to decide the fate of the game or they made bets for the Seahawks to win. Very badly refereed game. Seahawks are going to the Superbowl. 49ers are going home.

It's well known in the NFL. The last 5 years have been horrible with the refs. Ever since the strike, they have been only partially doing their jobs. We need to get the NFL commissioner out of office and fire a ton of refs and bring in refs that want to do the job and not be so easily bought.
I have to agree with Colleen about the quality and integrity of NFL refs, and I don't agree with her about too much or too often.

Huh? Seattle has never won a Superbowl. The 49ers have won 5. Seattle will not beat Denver unless they bring their blind refs with them. Then they would have a chance to win the Superbowl.

I didn't get to see the whole game due to power outage, but have to agree with you from what's been told me about the really POOR calls, especially the ones that were rule "unreviewable". Ridiculous.
The Patriots are one of my favorites, too, and I hope the Broncos trample the Seahawks (it won't be easy).
