Even if my hemoglobin tested normal could I still have too much iron in my liver?

My iron count was 16.8 when I gave blood. Two weeks later my doctor sent me to have CBC blood tests. They said my hemoglobin was normal. My grandfather had too much iron as well. Should I be concerned?

Well if you've been to the doctors for this, they would have more then likely told you if you needed to be concerned or not.
Obviously since they didn't, it probably means your fine.
I would ask my doctor this exact question though, and get his or her opinion, since he/she knows you better then any of us would.
