Yes but they must be within the legal limit of weight for the highway. Because of this, it's not really feasible for log trucks to use highways because it means they can only carry part loads. Vermont and parts of Maine have increased the legal weight limit for these trucks so intestate 95 though those states can now be used by log trucks with full loads.
