      After you have done all that,wipe out the inside with vanilla essence.

          Cut a lemon in half and cook on high for 1 minute. Repeat if necessary with a fresh lemon.

            Put a saucer of water in periodically with a bit of vinegar, boil the water by setting on proper setting for yours.  Leave the water to sit and fog up a bit.  After several minutes, carefully remove the saucer and wipe micro clean.  It deodorizes and cleans BEFORE you continually burn food on.

              soak a sponge in vinegar and clean it out with that. It might take two such cleanings.
