Are you talking motor bike or a bicycle?

what ever you do, get a light one. Get the lightest one they've got, if  you're going to race. So, don't get a fancy mountan bike with 16 gears and huge, heavy tires. Some French racing  bikes are very good. I've got an old Gitane.

Pull the other one. Hec. lol.

Me on a road bike, not likely, I have a hybrid which I do very well on.  When weather warms, I go to bike path, near my home.  I work up to a ten mile ride, which takes a few weeks to do, as I have arthritic knees.  I does help, I dropped about 10 lbs. during the summer, some has come back (6 lbs.).  But the Hybrid is best for a 63 yr. old like me...

I have a road bike ,and a mountain bike, both are Marine. The road bike is lighter than the mountain bike obviously, because the wheels and tyres are much thinner. You can get a Marin at a reasonable price ,if you shop a round.
