    Help with TV connections

    I have my cable TV connected thru AV leads (Red,white,yellow)to my TV.Works just fine.I have My DVD player connected to the TV with Video component leads (Red,blue,green).Video works,good picture,but I still get the audio from the Cable channel that I am on.What am I doing wrong?All the leads are properly connected to the right sockets. ????? HELP!

    I'm not sure how things work there but here we have to change the component option in our TV (found under menu) so it switches to the device you want to use.

    Yes I have tried that thru the source button.Oh well?? I'll hang in there.someone my know.Thanks Colleen.Stay warm.

    Do you have an impute option? Source on the remote is not the same as source or component in the TV. Component here removes it from the antenna or cable so it does not interfere with the component (device) you are using.
