    that's for sure. And when a woman gets widowed, a lot of her friends drop off.....especially the married ones. That is somewhat true, too, if / when a single woman gets cancer.

    MCM, that's a very negative way to look at life and one's friends. With attitudes like that, finding one's self alone shouldn't come as much of a surprise.
