Someone who makes you feel happy by just being with you,someone who you just want to be with all the time,and are happy when they are with you. And sticking together through all the crap that life may throw at you both, and still being together 40 or 50 years later.

I bumped into my husband on the football field. We were both on the way to the same party. I liked his face. There was just something ... what? Oh, I don't know. It was love at first sight for the two of us. It was just a happy accident. You can't count on this but I believe you'll find true love. You're asking questions and are seeking.  Good question.  : )

I think true love is when one is motivated out of appreciation for the person to love, respect, cater to the love one.  In love one might be big enough to let the other be them self.  One is willing to see the other grow and be happy.  one is willing let the other make some mistakes and be big enough to forgive, if the mistake was not to bad for the relationship and sometimes even then. True love is true honor for the other, through the good and bad times, arguments and laughter.  A big thing about true is that you love the company of the other.  It's great when both feel that way about each other. My dad had true love for my mom his whole life.  That's one reason i had so much respect for him.  He did and would do anything for her. He was truly the greatest. They had 8 kids. He died March 2013 from a leg blood clot.
