    Why do plants found in marshy conditions not survive well in arid conditions?

    i'm sure that this has something to do with the stomata on the leaf's lower epidermis, but i'm not sure what exactly... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all :)

      because arid is dry and marsh is wet simple

        If you did your own homework, you would not have to deal with obvious answers. I've remove the question that you just posted again since it is a repeat of this question. This question has had 58 views so people are seeing it. Volunteers can decide what they want to answer. No one seems to know the answer you are looking for so I would suggest that you check with your teacher.

        hey mate,,here is an answer,,if you take an Eskimo from his home and stick him in central Australia,He will either die or adapt,,plants are very much the same,,basic law of animal life,,nice talking mate,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

          because marsh plants need more water than arid plants. It's something to do with the pith.....their cellular structure.
