    Why do plants found in marshy conditions not survive well in arid conditions?

    i'm sure that this has something to do with the stomata on the leaf's lower epidermis, but i'm not sure what exactly... Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks all :)

      because arid is dry and marsh is wet simple

        If you did your own homework, you would not have to deal with obvious answers. I've remove the question that you just posted again since it is a repeat of this question. This question has had 58 views so people are seeing it. Volunteers can decide what they want to answer.           because marsh plants need more water than arid plants. It's something to do with the pith.....their cellular structure.
