Happens all the time. Companies do not want to get sued if an employee takes action and does something they have not been trained to do or does something like put out a fire without using proper safety gear and ends up hurt because of it. Walmart workers have been fired for stopping robberies.

A sad but true story! Companies must protect against law suits! We as consumers are nasty money grabbing maniacs! The lawyers get richer and the honest people get smashed!
