If the door will not open, I would think it's because the door is locked and stuck in the locked position. Try unplugging the washer for 5 minutes then plug it in again. That may reset the computer in the washer so that it unlocks the door. I tried to find what the error code actually means but the search results kept sending me to Whirlpool washers and not Maytag.

It could also be the water pressure of your home. If you shut off the device like Colleen said, you should be able to open the door. Check the pressure before attempting to use it again though.
