Chubby, are you a vet?? The bird will probably die in captivity, if you want to save it, bring it to a vet.

Well it seems you are a qualified bird handler. maybe if you search for wild bird forums, not so much bird watchers but people like yourself that raise birds you will find your answer there. Bone fractures and breaks are mechanical repairs in nature, (ask any orthopedic surgeon, they study mechanical engineering as part of their medical study) Knowing that, it seems like a simple repair of putting a broken stick back together but on a living thing, I wouldn't even try.

It has not died yet, and it seems to be fine, we can't seem to find an avian vet in our area, I also have 8 pigeons and one baby pigeon and 3 budgies.
