        that's what I was wondering.Is it for furniture or painting adn restoring cars ?

          Ok clear coat can mean either clear coat varnish if this is what you are talking about if you have put a undercoat on you must follow instructions on the tin and put your top coat (clear coat) now if we are talking about nail vanish again above applies
