There seems to be more breast cancer in places where there is wealth. Why could that be?

More money to discover whatever is wrong with a person…………..

    Could be ...

breast cancer hath no respect for persons of wealth, or poverty . My step-daughter got it and she was making lower middle class money. So was her husb when they were still married. I've known lots of waitresses adn nurses aides who got breast cancer, adn they all were making lower incomes.

What I 've noticed that is alarming, is that it's hitting younger and younger women.

Younger women are more aware and afraid now. They are getting mamograms early. I've never had one. My doctor frowns. Yes. My body. My choice. I sure don't think others should do what I do. Actually, I had one and it was a fiasco ... long story. I am fine.

Those with wealth don't know the stench of poverty...

I believe that none of us here have much of an idea. Some, like you, might be able to imagine poverty. I'm not sure how that effect breast cancer but it was a thought-out comment.
