    What does it mean when somebody says to two people together, " you would make a good couple"

    And this person who is a friend with the guy next to the girl says to the girl beforehand " ohhh I think he likes you a lot more than you relies "

      it means they were meant for each other. I know married couples who someone said this to them before they got married.

        First, someone tells the girl that the guy likes her more than she realizes, then the same someone tells them when they are together that they make a good couple.  
        It means the friend is trying to put the idea into the couple's heads that they should like each other (if they don't already).  He is matchmaking, letting the girl know the guy is interested in her and hoping his comment(s) will have the desired effect of getting them DEFINITELY interested in each other.    
        Usually girls are the busybodies.  This is unique.

              It means they go well together, or deserve each other as the case might be.
