When brands decide to take cues from vintage watches, there's a risk of falling off one side of the cliff or another. Some brands lean too hard into making "reproductions." That can work for brands that died out during the quartz crisis but have no modern design language link or lineage to extrapolate what link a vintage brand would in a modern space. But you also risk running out link of random, obscure references that people actually liked back in the day and might like now.

Further than that the brand's continued commitment to pushing its own technical limits link is perhaps what's most exciting. For a brand that first link made the Submariner for divers in the '50s then the link Sea-Dweller for SEALAB inhabitants in the '60s the Deepsea Challenge is a fitting next chapter to the story.
