Log in to your Facebook account and click the "Account" option from the top navigation bar.

Select "Account Settings" from the sub-menu and click the "Mobile" tab.

Locate the "Facebook Text Messages" section. Click the "Off" radio button under the "Texts Are" option.

Click "Save Preferences" to save your choice and disable Facebook mobile texts.

Disable via Text Message

Compose a new text message on your cell phone.

Enter "32665," which is Facebook's short code number, in the recipient's number field.

Type "Off" (without the quotes) in the body field.
