        there's always rumors of terrorists, or even domestic terrorists bombing or otherwise ruining  the grid. No one know when or if.  It wouldn't hurt to get wind-up flashlights, candles, non-perishable food, water,etc, and put it in your basement......or a safe place. Oh , and get a generator.
