I desire to eliminate the provinces controlled hydor electric supply to my home in Ontario and replace it with my own generator to supply electricity to my home. Am I allowed to this legaly? I am an elctrcian (retired) and know how to do this safely.

If I were you, I would check with a lawyer first. There may be some kind of repercussions in the future if you disconnect your current supply. Sorry I can't be of more help.

He does not have to disconect his current supply,just supply the tails outgoing to his house to the Generator incoming supply,

Quite possibily Miss,Ducky,He could install a change over switch between the incoming companey supply and his own Generator,keep it well muffled though,so as not to annoy the neabours,

Its the big heavy Steels installed ,for a high rise building,the men are called Iron fighters,and Ladies of course,
