I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am & after running the rear defroster for about 15 minutes, there is only a quarter size area by the ground wire tab that start to defrost on a cold morning. I am getting full voltage all the way across the grid right up to the tab that the ground wire attaches to. If I pull the ground wire off and attach a volt meter to the wire, I still get full voltage across the grid. When I touch the tab with the voltmeter, I get a drop of 1-2 volts from the grid reading.
