1992 ford mustang gt engine ran but wont move an inch.

while driving uphill at 65 mph something happen and drops to 20 mph even if I step on gas pedal no advance.

Is it bucking or choking like it's not getting enough gas? Have your fuel pump tested. Did you check the drive shaft to make sure it's not broken? If it's transmission related, take it to a tranny shop. Unless you know what you're doing, I would leave a transmission to the professionals only.
