That happened to me lately . I bought a Garmin, and it came with no directions. There was a picture of someone downloading a manual. So, we did that and it wouldn't come up. It did say, however, in a leaflet , that to get a map of all of north American, enter Garmin Express.com. So, I downloaded all those maps. My bro's Garmin came with no manual either. He said just go outside into your car and start up the menu and start pushing buttons. Who knew ?
