By+ past adverbs of time
Hello.I have got a question for which I have found no exact references for reply.I'd like to know which tense is most frequently used with such time expressions like By last year I -------------------- my job.( finish)/ Before 1990 , most of the trees in the area--------------------------.(cut down) / Until that moment I ------------------------------ that man .
