      hi pretty dutch,i have found brake lights on anything perform badly if you have a bad earth...best of luck....

        I DOUBT IT WOULD BE A BAD GROUND BECAUSE THE TAIL LIGHT PORTION OF THE BULB IS WORKING AND BOTH FILAMENTS OF BOTH BULBS ARE OK.
