    how far can plant trees on a property line

    If you are in the USA, your town zoning dept can answer this. Typically trees must be 3 - 4 feet from a property line but also must be so many feet from the dwelling. Room for emergency vehicles must be left along the property line and around the dwelling and all large buildings on the property.

    depends on the ordinance of your city, or town, or township , or county,or state.. Does the state own the land next to you ?  Who owns it ?
