    Honda ES6500 generator

    Generator overheats and shuts down in about 20 minutes.  Fan works, coolant full but old, oil full, air filter clean.  Is there a thermostat?  What else could be wrong?

      Try changing your coolant this may be the problem, it will shut down if it overheats.
