    how do I turn on power for my garage

    there was a power outage on thursday and back on 8 hours later. now i have no power in my garage but rest of the house is fine

      Check your fuse or circuit breaker box, more than likely a circuit has been blown click back on or replace fuse.

        Ok. I'll need to replace a fuse. I'll get this from Home Depot. This house is 8 months old. ta

        Where do you live that you have an 8 month old house with fuses? I thought fuses in new houses were outlawed because they're not safe. Circuit breakers only as far as I knew.

        Yes, check it with someone that is knowledgeable with fuse and circuit breaker boxes as fuse box were pretty much done away with in the 60's. Unless someone reused one.

        most circuit breakers will be marked as to where they function. find out where the one is for the garage. then flip it twice to reset it. they'll all be in the same direction
