    Labor intensive and expensive.  heater core is not expensive itself depending on the vehicle but the work to pull the old one and install replacement is a nighmare on most vehicles.


    Depending where you live and the climate, you might just consider bypassing it from under the hood at the firewall, easy job and the fitting is cheap.  But you'll be cold in the winter, no cabin heat.
