How to close a twitter account.
Log in to your Twitter account from a desktop or laptop computer.
Click the button at the top of the page that looks like a gear with a downward-pointing arrow next to it to open a drop-down menu
Select “Settings” from the menu.
Scroll down to the very bottom of page and click “Deactivate My Account.”
Read the warnings and click the “Deactivate” button.
Your info should be fully gone from the Twitter website within a few days
