hi Lilybell, the only thing i can think it may be,,,when you replaced the piston rings,did you replace the oil rings as well as the compression rings,,and did you hone the bore,,if the bore is glazed or out of shape,, the oil may slip through there,,thats all i got mate,,i hope it is of some help to you.........
