Dell laptop not switching to external monitor
I attached a Samsung 216bw monitor to my Dell Vostro 1500 running Windows 7 and Fn+F8 worked. But then I had to do a restart and now it doesn't. In the Device Manager I see SyncMaster 223BW/223BWG(Analog). I tried turning off the monitor, unplugging the cable, turning the monitor back on, replugging the cable. The driver is up to date, but Fn+F8 still not switching to this monitor. Any suggestions?
