What Happen Before The Big Bang?
They are the biggest questions that science can possibly ask: where did everything in our universe come from? How did it all begin? For nearly a hundred years, we thought we had the answer: a big bang some 14 billion years ago.
But now some scientists believe that was not really the beginning. Our universe may have had a life before this violent moment of creation.
@facebook - I suggest you reread what was stated. You will find it was not stated, what, GOD "can" or "cannot" do!

If someone has beliefs that the universe is, or should be, a certain way, it is only natural that they give importance to corroborating evidence or arguments that enhance their beliefs.
No one is without influences, whether they are religious, cultural, philosophically idealist, educational backgrounds, or anything else. We all have biased opinions, mine would reflect my beliefs in God being the creator of the universe.
I do have to point out that according to our known laws of physics, things never go from a disorganized state to an organized state through random events or explosions. Things do go from an organized state to a disorganized state though.

Thanks, I've also heard it expressed this way as well: If you threw a stick of dynamite into a news paper plant, what would the results be? Chaos every time, you wouldn't get a perfectly put together phone book....

Answer: Instead of the universe inexplicably springing into existence from a mysterious initial singularity, the Big Bang was a collision between two universes like ours existing as parallel membranes floating in a higher-dimensional space that we’re not aware of.

Our universe always existed, just not in the current physical format. There is another dimension called the immaterial dimension, or the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm always existed, with eternal spiritual beings, of which you and I are one.
Darkness began to permeate and overtake the spiritual realm, when the spiritual beings started turning away from the Light of God. God then consumed the darkness, and "flushed" it out of the spiritual realm, creating our darkened physical universal realm. What we now observe when we look out at the darkened sky at night, is the remains of what was in the spiritual realm, only now in a physical format.
We are simply repeating everything that happened in the spiritual realm as we go through time. In other words, Genesis will repeat itself again as mankind draws further away from God into "darkness." Read "The Binary Effects of God," for more in depth understanding.

Yes, it is a theroy, but scientific theroy is different from standard theroy. In science when a hypothesis (or idea) reaches the level of scientific theroy there has been such an accumulation of proof that it's considered unreasonable to contest it. For example, the theroy of gravity. It's a theroy, but no one is going to jump off a building to disprove it.

The Bible is brief on the subject of the creation of the Grand Universe. Any story to appease the illiterate masses while developing a recorded history that leaves the rabble sated and looking for the good parts… The facts are sparse even now and there have been vast numbers of star gazers looking into the night sky looking for stories that will make them famous. I look at our history and as strange as this may sound, I think the Grand Universe is smaller than we have been told. I think the Catholics were closer to the truth about the Universe before the lens grinders came along. It was church policy that the lights in the sky were "crystal spheres”. When I was studying how light is bent by thermal bands or layers in the atmosphere it occurred to me that the view we have of objects in space are subject to the same optical principals as I was seeing in heat bands…producing mirages. That the atmosphere here has much the same effect as a globe fish bowl. From the outside of the fish bowl the fish looks larger and viewing the room from inside the fish bowl the room appears to be much larger than it is outside the fish bowl. And looking from one fish bowl to another across the room…the distances appear to be vast and things appear smaller and more distant. Try it with a hand held camera yourself and put water in the bowl too if your camera is waterproof or you have a mirror.
Our little universe of about 8 planets and a sun contains an atmosphere even to the outer most planets. I may be a thin atmosphere but it is sure to impose a lensing effect out there for quite a ways. I don’t think the astronomers have it all figured out.

Umbriel since my empirical data is based on observation and consideration only and my historical reference attributed to a fading memory, I appreciate the praise. The only question therein relates to the basic facts in observation. Since the observation involving globe fish bowls is what it is, wouldn’t the same facts apply on a grand scale as well?

If that was the case, I would be telling you what happen before the big bang, instead of asking what happen before the big bang!
Many people seem to think we can explain the theory of beginning of time or evolution, and yet they don't want put God in the equation,This doesn't mean we can't solve some of our problem,only thing I see solve is we just made a bigger mess of everything in this world.I totally agree with you Pam If you can explain what happen before TBB. We might get to somewhere.
If I'm not mistaken someone on this site said you can't get something out of nothing,well I got news for you! scientist & mathematician,haven't been able to solve this problem,because it isn't an equation,just like the 0 when it first came out had no value now which is better $10.or $10000.

That's an easy challenge for you to make, since it's impossible to prove a negative. It's not a matter of non-religious people proving god didn't do, it's incumbent on you religious zealots to prove he did.

Who told you that? were you there when the universe began? no one know this,unless you were with God when He created everything that was made without human hand.
To facebook: It's science, not some religious fiction. If you want to believe in god, help yourself. However, it's arbitrary, capricious, and has not one shred of evidence to validate it. At least with science there are test and ways to prove a theroy. You religious people always want to bring god into it. That allows you to make a statement that can't be proven one way or the other. In other words non-sense. I've got news for you, god is a fiction created by man that allows him to function and avoid the stresses of having a finate life, with no afterlife.
An idea is always before the form, a subject before and object, a consciousness before an organism.
That reasoning is a human construct siimply because it's difficult for us to imagine non-existance. Furthermore, the universe is a physical object, and again, there is no evidence of a supreme being formulating an idea before the occurence, other than your desire for it to be so.

dwayne I how do you know everything is spinning in different directions if you don`t believe the science ot the Big Bang? Selective belief maybe?
i base my beliefs on faith in god the bible backs me up with a very accrurate account of the history of the events of the day i dont pick out the parts that suit me and poo-poo the parts that make me uncomfortable and trust me some do
