      You can get them rebuilt and the ones I've had done hold charge better and last longer and cost is about the same as new. But better.

          I have seen places on ebay that will rebuild your battery but I have never tried it

            If it's from Sears, buy a new unit all together. their batteries cost more than the whole unit. that's what I found out the hard way. and, don't charge more than 7 hours. that what mine says on the new one NOT FROM SEARS.
