        I have some in my refrigerator at the moment and when I went to look at them just now, they were dancing. So, the answer is yes!

          Yes, It's alive after it's umbillilical cord is cut.........It keeps getting redder and riper. Then,when it reaches it's peek, it  slowly declines and dies.....kinda like us. Nothing lives forever.
