I looked it up for you, and here are the official reasons: 
The unofficial reason is because if you don't regularly clean your body, you smell REAL bad.
I'd better not see you asking why we use toilet paper! 

Purposes of bathing ;
1- Bathing removes accumulated oil ,dead skin and perspiration.
2- Stimulates circulation
3- Warm or hot bath dilates superficial arterioles ,which brings
more blood and nourishment.to skin
4- Vigorous rubbing , from distal to proximal facilitating venous
blood flow.
5- Producing a sense of well –being , refreshing , relaxing and
improve self – respect.
6- Excessive bathing ,interferes with sebum ,causing skin dryness.

As a matter of routine. My father was a coal miner & he bathed every Saturday night,whether he needed it or not.

We have to bathe b/c our mothers told us to.    Seriously, you have to bathe to exfoliate dead skin cells. If you don't, you'll get all kinds of moles, and keratoses, and maybe warty flat like moles. And you won't look good, b/c there will be a grayish shadow on you.
