    How do you create a "hyperlink" (if that's the word I want), wherein one can say, "click here" and by clicking on that (instead of on a URL, one gets to the desired place?

    If the app you are posting to has the option for creating a hyper link you should see a link that looks like this "" .


    Here on akaQA we do have that option. Just highlight the words like you are going to copy them (leave them highlighted, no need to copy though), then click the link symbol on the text menu bar (you can see it in the "add new answer" box here). After you click the link symbol, a box will appear that you will past the url address into for the page you want to send the person to. There is a way to create a hyper link if the webpage you are on does not offer the option of using a link symbol to make a hyper link.
