I deliberately did not mention any precise location as it does not really matter. I just need something not too far from public transports in order to stay for a 2/3 month visit
Toronto is big. Public transportation is really not a problem but distance could be. The farther you are from your 'hotel' more it is going too cost you nullifying your hotel savings. Anyway I cannot give you much help because from downtown to say markham it could be 45 mins or Mississauga to Markham over an hour and hotels are priced differently
