    accidental flooding wad due to a water pressure surge in Whirlpool duet washer, how can I avoid the flooding now

    I was not use my Whirlpool duet front loading washer for almost 6 weeks because I was on vacation. I did not unplug the washer and turn off the water supply to the washer. My son found the laundry room was flooded from the washer then he unplug the washer.


    Now I started to use the washer again and found it flood again . I would like to know how I can avoid the flooding. I knew his is a accidental flooding due to a water pressure surge, Can he water pressure back to normal after I  use the washer for a few times ?

    I'm not sure how you know this is a water pressure surge.  Perhaps your connection is loose, or there is a leak elsewhere.  
    Not being a fan of major cleanups, my next move would be to call a repair service.
