I'm trying to bring the color auburn that's naturally in my hair. It's mostly brown. How do I make it a little bit more auburn?

A henna rinse may do the trick. Start with rinses and move onto coloring once you've found the right shade.......

You can put an auburn rinse through your hair which will wash out after a few washes. Or you can buy a semi or permanent hair dye from the supermarket and do it yourself, which is a lot cheaper than having the hair dresser do it. Foils, streaks is another method of high lightening your hair.

See a hair stylist and get your hair highlighted auburn.

Do you want the whole thing to be auburn or do you want "sparkles" of auburn? If you want the auburn to be highlighted, do what Colleen suggested (I go every six weeks for root touch-up, trim ends, and a little highlighting). It's pretty when the highlights are of varying shades of auburn. If you want it all one color, do what Julie and PL suggested.

go to a professional.It's easier and it's a lot less dicey.. Ask her/ him to make it brown with auburn peeking thru. I get mine medium brown with gold peeking thru.
