Assuming that a person stays active and involved in life long learning, it should increase. What DOES decrease is the speed at which an older person "learns". That process becomes slower but does not mean that new things cannot be learned. It just takes more time and patience.

er, hm, well, wait a minuite, think i get what you mean,???????????
Your intelligence should have increased, as life experiences have increased. Your tolerances, attention, reaction time, and general interest have probably naturally decreased, but do not take that for a lack of intelligence. There are tons of very intelligent folks in nursing homes, some with mental disabilities caused by aging, also some with physical disabilities with their wits still.
