    is the dye ink in epson 1280 printers the same as dye sublimation used in transfers?

    I am considering in buying a heat press to transfer printed images to aluminum panels and the process requires dye sub ink. I have an Epson photo stylus 1280, Epson workforce 7510 and understand that the 1280 uses dye ink, and if this is the same as dye sublimation ink. Also, which paper would be good to print on to transfer to metal?
