Yes, republicans do marry more than democrats and they also divorce more too. Thats because they are unwilling to compromise and see the other sides view as demonic and incomprehensible. You can identify a republican in a crowd because they appear ready to be bronzed, tight lipped, staring off into the distance with a scowl and laugh only to ridicule.
