      Do you have the mower in gear? You may have to have it in neutral with the blade disengaged in order to start the machine.

          Raise the hood on the tractor, it has to have a pull cord.

          Mower is in nutruel and blades are off. I tried jumping it also and had the same result

            Does it have a pull cord? If it does, try the pull cord.
