Honey and lemon. Some old timers add whiskey but don't do that. Consult a doctor to be sure it's only a sore throat..........

How old is your baby ? Best to get a doctors opinion on what you can give.

As above, lemon and honey but on the advice of your doctor and I would never give a baby anything that has not been prescribed . Our little ones (and grown ones!) are too preciousx

If 2, then lemon and honey AND jaggary mixed with curry powder (yellow) a pinch. Roll into a pill and give it to the baby if old enough. If accompanied by cold, a touc of brandy in warm water should help.  BUT you asked for home remedy. This is it.  I remember my mom used these when I had cold back in Africa and doctor was not around. It worked.

Other than home remedy, go to the doctor. Good luck.
