I think what you meant to ask was:  If I have 5 best friends and one dies, how many people are left. 

The answer would be 5.  Including yourself there are 6 to start with, so one dying would be 6-1, or 5.

You could benefit from taking a bit more time and effort with the brain teasers so they make more sense.

Best friend?

If 5 people are my best friend and 1 died... hmmm that is a bit "tricky"

Come on, they are my best friends. Superman, Batman and other "superb" heros. They will never die!
