Instructions
1
Make sure the database you use to create your labels is up to date. The only way you can print multiple labels with different information is to merge information in your database with the Works label function.
2
Open Works, then open a new document.
3
Click Labels on the Tools menu. Select the Labels option to create labels with different information on each label. Click on the Label Size tab to choose the size of your label.
4
Click on the Database tab to indicate which database you will be using to create your labels.
5
Click on the Recipients tab to choose the database records you want to use.
6
Click on the Label Layout tab to choose the database fields you want to use and to further define the appearance of your labels.
7
Click the Printing tab to select printing options.
8
Click Preview to see how your labels will look. If they are not correct, double-check the previous steps.
9
Click Test to print a test sheet of your labels. Again, if the labels do not look right, repeat the previous steps and continue to run test pages until your labels look like you want them to.
10
Load the appropriate number of labels into your printer and print the labels.
